Where did all the money go?
Posted December 18th, 2009 | Show guest: Steven Thrasher

This Obama Economy isn't very pretty, is it? What does it take to get a loan these days? The only one lending is China, and we know where all that money is going.

What is an entrepreneur supposed to do? How can a start up raise capital? Experienced entrepreneurs aren't the only ones looking for money. With record unemployment rates, it only makes sense that victims of the Obama Economy who were laid off and who haven't been able to find work in months are starting their own businesses.

Where did all the money go? It's still out there, if you know where to look. Tune in to the Innovation at Work Radio Show this Monday, December 21, and we'll show you the money. Steven Thrasher, an inventor and patent attorney, returns to the show to provide us with some valuable money making tips. How can you get venture capital? How can you attract the attention of an angel investor? These questions and more will be answered this Monday. This is one show you don't want to miss!

Checkout Microsoft Surface

Randy DeWitt, the founder of Rockfish Seafood Grill, stopped by the Innovation@Work! Radio Show not too long ago. In an exclusive on air interview, he filled us in on the innovative history of the restaurant, including the birth of Twin Peaks, an offspring of sorts. I'd love to see Rockfish invest in Microsoft Surface technology. Imagine enjoying a meal while sharing photos and videos right there on the surface of the table. The table could feature a touch screen menu, allowing you to order at any time. What other possibilities can you think of for Microsoft's multi-touch table? Email me with your ideas.

Benjamin Franklin: Innovator

Refused to patent his Franklin Stove, saying, "As we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours; and this we should do freely and generously."
