Lawn Jockey - Because you have more important things to do than yard maintenance.

Now on your iPad!
So you're an early adopter! Congratulations on your purchase of a spankin' new Apple iPad. Here's another great thing you can do with it...listen to Winston Edmondson! Just download the Justin.TV iPad/iPhone app, launch it, and search for innovationenvy. You can also watch/listen to us live right here.

Social Innovation
April 19th, 2010
What is Social Innovation? Is this another setup from Henderson, Winston's extremely liberal executive assistant? You know how the left sometimes uses positive words to obfuscate the real objective.

No, we're safe here. This is a good thing. We'll speak with Stacy Caldwell for a crash course in social innovation. Stacy is the President of the Dallas Social Venture Partners (DSVP), and we'll hear about the exciting things that the organization is doing in our community. They've been supporting venture philanthropy for 10 years, and we'll find out about their bigBANG celebration.

A special thanks to Jeremy Gregg for getting us connected with Stacy.

BuzzShift
April 20th, 2010
Cameron Gawley is the founder of BuzzShift, a unique consulting company. He struck gold with his first two startups, and I suspect that BuzzShift will be just as successful. With the experience he has under his belt, he's the perfect guest to answer the question, "What is the right way to launch your company?"

Mindy Jones
April 21st, 2010
We'll chat with Mindy Jones about the non profit organization, Parenting Alone. She'll share some of the experiences from her life that make her uniquely qualified to lead this organization.

M79 Studios
April 22nd, 2010
Mark Wadden joins us to talk about his Digital Marketing company. We'll find out about the services that M79 Studios offers. Like this radio program, M79 Studios is a client of Regus, so we'll get a chance to compare notes. Make sure you check out the M79 Studios website. It's one of my favorites.

Special Guest Host: Ayo
April 23rd, 2010
You've heard him host the Local Music Spotlight. Now Alan Ayo takes the main stage as the special guest host of the Innovation at Work radio show. We're looking forward to his conversation with Chelsea Calahan, from the Double Wide Bar. If you're ever looking for Chelsea, there's a good chance you can find her at the Double Wide.

The 2009 Big Idea Awards

Who deserves recognition for big ideas and innovations in 2009? Email the Innovation@Work! radio show and nominate your choice!

Checkout Microsoft Surface

Randy DeWitt, the founder of Rockfish Seafood Grill, stopped by the Innovation@Work! Radio Show not too long ago. In an exclusive on air interview, he filled us in on the innovative history of the restaurant, including the birth of Twin Peaks, an offspring of sorts. I'd love to see Rockfish invest in Microsoft Surface technology. Imagine enjoying a meal while sharing photos and videos right there on the surface of the table. The table could feature a touch screen menu, allowing you to order at any time. What other possibilities can you think of for Microsoft's multi-touch table? Email me with your ideas.

Benjamin Franklin: Innovator

Refused to patent his Franklin Stove, saying, "As we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours; and this we should do freely and generously."
